In an emergency:
- Try to stay calm—you’ll be the most help to your pet that way.
- Don’t delay—call for advice even if you’re unsure. It’s always better to check.
- Tell the vet what’s happened so they can advise you on what your pet needs.
- Keep your pet safe and warm while you wait for help or travel to the clinic.
