We understand
Your pet means the world to us too
There comes a time when the kindest thing we can do for our beloved pets is help them pass peacefully. At Family Vets in Farnham, we know how special your pet is and we’re here to support you through this next chapter.
Whether the decision comes suddenly or after a long journey, we’ll take time to talk things through—gently, clearly, and without pressure. You’ll have space to ask questions, understand your options, and make choices that feel right for your pet and your family.
Peaceful, gentle care
When it’s time to say goodbye
Family Vets provides compassionate and dignified end-of-life care in the comfort and familiarity of your home. This can be a great comfort to both you and your pet.
We’ll always ensure your pet is calm, comfortable, and treated with the utmost kindness and respect. And we’re here to support you too—with empathy, guidance, and care every step of the way.
When our Farnham vet practice opens later this year, you’ll also be able to choose a peaceful, private space at the practice—designed to provide the same gentle care in a quiet setting, if that’s what feels right for you.
Honouring your pet’s memory
You may wish to consider how best to honour your pet’s memory. Some pet parents find it comforting to talk through these choices with us ahead of time. We’re here to guide you through the next steps with sensitivity and care—whether that’s arranging cremation, keepsakes, or simply offering support as you navigate this time.

Support for the whole family
We understand that saying goodbye affects everyone in the family—and young children can find this time especially hard. We're here to offer gentle guidance and support, helping you talk through things in a way that brings comfort and reassurance to those you love.

When you’re ready, we’re here
As pet parents ourselves, we understand—get in touch and let us support you.
You didn’t need words to show me you cared,
A glance, a nuzzle—the love we shared.
Now the home feels quiet, the days feel long,
But your memory stays, steady and strong.
You were more than a pet—you were part of my soul,
A gentle companion who made me whole.
Though you're no longer here in the way I once knew,
I still feel your presence, I’m forever with you.
Grief takes its time, and healing is slow,
But love like yours will never let go.
You gave me your heart, loyal and true,
And mine will always carry the best of you.
